I love Black Eyed Susan.  The way the petals fall under the center, the contrast between the yellow and the brown and the long sturdy stem.  Nature at it's best.

Owls

Lately I have seen so many owls, in trees, in flight and just hearing the soothing sound of them.

Owl totem says that the common meaning for the owl are: 

     *Intuition, ability to see what others do not see

     *The presence of the owl announces change

     *Capacity to see beyond deceit and mask

     *Wisdom

     *Owl spirit animals are associated with curiostiy for the unknown, life mysteries.

     *The traditional meaning of the owl spirit animal is the announcer of death, most likely 

              symbolic like a life transition, a change.
