~~Donut Grow Up~~

Adeline turns !  This was such a fun photo shoot.  No cake for her, she gets all these donuts for herself.  She dove right into them and didn't stop until she pushed the plate over.

Patriotic photos in 98* = Splash Pad and Ice Cream

Living in Florida you just have to go with the flow when it is 98* outside and feels like 107*.  But we had to get in Patriotic photos for Independence day!!  We have gotten so much rain that we had to cancel a few times, the spots we wanted to go to are "under water"  so we chose a shady spot near the Laishley Park and Scoops and Bites
All of the kids were so good.  You can see how hot is was just from their faces.
So after photos we headed to the splash pad and then treated kids and us with ICE CREAM!!!

Autumn wearing Annabells shorts because she had to wear pants, LOL

Simple Joy's

Summertime is all about the Simple Things, like the simplicity of a Popsicle.

This little one, not even a year old, is having a popsicle for the first time. At first she didn't like the cold on her gums, but I bet if felt good as she is teething. Her Sissy tried to help her hold the popsicle the right way but she did not want to let go of it. She cried while eating her popsicle and loved every drop of it.

Not sure if she likes the coldness of the popsicle.

She is crying because her hand is cold but doesn't want to let go.

Eyelashes and Curls!!

It's so good but I can't stop eating it.

See Sissy, this is how you hold a popsicle.

No Sissy, that is not how you hold it.

Waving BuBye to Sissy.  Sissy is done. She still has the littlest amount and NO ONE is taking it away from her.

Gazing into my new Crystal Ball

I have always been a creative person.  I am currently in a creative hump.  I can NOT find a creative bone in me.  So when I get like this I hop on Instagram, Pintrest and Flickr to find some creativity.   I saw some photos of crystal ball photography and fell in LOVE.  I think this may be a new passion of mine. I have always said I wanted a crystal ball, well now I got one.

These photos are taken at Blind Pass Beach in Englewood, Florida.  I have had not been to this beach but liked it a lot.  It is a no frills beach.  For me that means quiet and serene.  The beach today was a bit choppy which is unusual as it is the Gulf of Mexico.

Everything is your life is a reflection of a choice you have made.  If you want a different result, make a different choice.

Spontaneous Lunch in Venice

Life at the Beach

 Florida Colors

I love a spontaneous road trip even if it is somewhere I have been previously.  The other day we went to lunch on the island of Venice, Florida at a little Italian restaurant Trattoria De Mino.  My hubby loves Italian food.  He saw calzones on someones table and was hooked.  One is large enough to share but we could not decide which one so we got a spinach and a sausage. Both excellent but he spinach was perfect! The weather was so nice we were able to sit outside and enjoy all the people walking by.
I am in a black and white mood lately but kept the images of the jetty in color because well, the water is amazing right now, even after a few days of storms.

I hope you enjoy my images.... Deb

I am in a slump!!!  I have no direction as to where I am heading.  In what direction do I want my photography to go, I honestly do not know.  I had these ideas a couple years ago and I am not so sure I want them any longer. Am I hanging onto a pipe dream, is EGO getting in there or am I to busy comparing myself to everyone else that I am talking myself down?  I think it is this, that I am comparing myself to much and EGO trying so hard to keep me down.  When I do this I second guess myself and rob me of the love I have with photography.

I am on my 2nd year of taking a photo every day, last year was my 3 attempt and I finally completed it and have no intention on stopping. What it has taught me is incredible; to see life, daily life as a beautiful gift that is worthy of photographing, something so simple as a messy 3yr old face after a PB&J sandwich or her solitude playing with her Littlest Pet Shops. My photo a day is something I do for me.  It is a form of therapy for me.  Not all days do I feel like that, someday  I just want to take a photo and get it over with.  It has taught me that not every photo is going to be good, sometimes they are gonna really suck and some are gonna be way better than others.

I have had a camera since, well always. I am the one who always has the camera with her.  I am not sure where my photography is heading, part of me wishes I had a crystal ball so I would know but another part of me is excited for the mystery. I will surrender that I do not know and just enjoy the love of the camera.

I love taking photos, always have!  I hope you enjoy my images as I enjoy taking them and sharing them.
