So, no one willing to jump today and this prompt completely stumped me today. Getting close to the day being over and HAVE to take a photo, any photo (LOL). This is me making Spinach Artichoke dip that I tried at the Farmers Market and loved but hated it here. We threw it away it was so nasty!! Oh well, win some lose some.

I took several photos using today's prompts with both cell phone and big girl camera. I got Hunter in a complete circle napping, that was my second choice. I choose this one because I like my feet peaking out of the bottom of the photo and because I love Eggplant Pizza!!

After yesterday's storms and tornado, it must have rained at least 3 inches, the water ways are overflowing with all the rain runoff. I did try other shots , the flag blowing and the tree moving but did not like them. But this one I think is perfect, motion, movement and changing.

It is oddly chilly here is southwest Florida, temps dropping to low 40*s at night. So I have this little guy, my newly purchased tomato plant, on my lanai and have been moving him into the sun during the day then at night close to the house with a blanket over him. No day is a good day for a self portrait but today defiantly not!! I am not feeling it today at all, have no desire to pick up the camera. I went to a birthday party yesterday and forgot to change the ISO and all the pictures are a bit grainy or blurry (kids, they just don't sit still LOL). While at a birthday party/pool party/cookout I thought for sure I would get an awesome Dual shot but I did not. It was rainy and cold, the kids did swim but not for long. The cookout had to go under cover because the rain. It is never easy taking photos at a kids birthday party. I thought I would get cake and ice-cream but the birthday girl wanted cookies instead. So, here I am with a shark and the pool paired and contrast.

Not sure what kind of flower the yellow and purple ones are but I think they are very pretty. I have silky in those flowers, velvety in the silver flowers and the petunias. I am very happy to have some color in my backyard again!

This was taken at the Sarasota Botanical Gardens. I had a few others that would fit the prompt as well as my lunch photo but this is the one I like the most. All the plants have a coarse edge to them, the bird bath is coarse as well. I like the contrast of the colors and textures.

Folded beach towels. I was so excited to go to the beach and see the sunset as well as get some color. The beach has Red Tide, which makes the beach smell horrible and can get into your sinuses making you sneeze and cough. We didn't even make it an hour. Thank goodness I live fairly close to the beach.

I had Jury duty today. This image was taken from the 7th floor of the courthouse while on a break. If I could have taken my camera there were so many photos opp I would love to have taken, but not allowed. Looking down I spotted the USA flag and the Florida flag and thought, they compliment each other.

My new 1960's pink and green glass ornaments!!!! I am so excited, I have been wanting these for so long. I found them at a local vintage shop. I remember being a kid and having ornaments like these and loved them. Of course being pink and green with glitter makes them perfect. I am tucking them away in a vintage box till next year.

This is me sitting at the computer starting to go through my photos and purging them. Deleting, cleaning, renaming folders and pictures. I task I have started so many times before but don't keep up with it. I tend to keep all my photos, good or not. Well it takes up a lot of space on your computer's hard drive. I am determined to get this done this year. Yes, year. I know it is a task that will take a months. And of course Hunter keeps me company while enjoying the sun.

This is my morning spot as long as it is not to hot outside. This is a daily need of mine, a MUST. My morning routine. Me sitting outside, looking out at the pool with my coffee (or water) my phone & tablet to read my blogs, I catch up on everyone's posting for their POTD as well as the prompt for the day. It is my chance to say thank you to the Universe and to "plan" my day.

This is so not me!!! Me putting my feet up during the day~NOT!!! But here I am I was planning on taking the tree down but it is rainy and so grey outside. It felt so good to put my feet up. Honestly, I can't believe I am putting a picture up of my unpainted toenails. B&W to symbolize the grey day outside.

My word for the year is growth. I am challenging myself in so many avenues of my life, Mind, Body & Soul as well as my photography. I am challenging myself to stick to a POTD (photo of the day).
