 Welcoming in 2017!!!!!!!!!!!

Where will 2017 take me!!!
I have no clue!!!!  I feel a bit like the Caterpillar that turns into a beautiful butterfly.  I have the courage and will need it.  Life is a messy mystery that I am learning to love and embrace!!!
My photography, IDK!!!!  I am clueless as to what direction I am going.  No that is not exactly true, I do have a clue.  We will see what is in the cards for me this year.
I am open and willing!!!

I am so fortunate that I live is such a beautiful place.  I can go to the beach for an hour or so and recharge myself.  This beach nicknamed Middle Beach is actually Blind Pass Beach in Englewood, Florida.   Middle beach is located on Manasota Key, halfway between Englewood Beach and Manasota Beach.
On this day I needed a recharging.  It is a quiet beach with lots of beachcombers looking for sharks teeth.
This is one of my happy places.

I choose Happiness

Halloween is so fun to me.  I love seeing people decorate their yards and houses.  It brings out the creative side of people.   It is the one day of the year that you can dress up and pretend to be someone else.  I love seeing other peoples costumes and why they chose to be that person, there is always a reason. In the past (as an adult) I have been a butterfly, a witch, Bat-girl but my favorite costume is a zombie. I love getting all creeped out and watching peoples reaction of me.
Life really is all about chooses. I choose to be happy.... and creative and adventurous and loving and grateful.  Isn't that what life is all about, just be happy.

This are from a couple years ago.  One of my favorite memory of this year is when a 3 year old came up to me (he knew me) and said Miss Debbie you are really dirty.  LOL, he was not scared at all.

                                          My family>>>>>>

Happiness is...... the Beach

I love the beach, always have always will.  Everything about it, the warmth the sun shines on me, the salty air, the sand between my toes.  I love to hear the sound of the waves crashing, sea gulls cry and children having fun.
Every time I go to the beach I always bring home shells that I find interesting.  It always amazes me that I am drawn to a certain kind of different shell each time I go shell collecting.

Three Forms of Candy Corn

Candy Corn is oh so sweet.  It makes a great fall time treat.
So smooth with yellow, orange and white, I want more with every bite.
So eat them now while they are still here, they won't be back till next year.

Siesta Key Photo Walk

I went for a photo walk with a good friend of mine who loves taking photos as well.  She took me down a few side streets of Siesta Key that I have never been down.  I kinda feel silly admitting that.  But it is true, I have always stayed to the main street of the village.  I was so happy to find all sorts of colors in the signs, the houses and also found a quiet little beach.

                                                          Dolphins on the Key

                                                                  I love signs!!!!

                                                                         A quiet oasis

The sign reads:  The average dog is nicer than the average person.

another sign.... this one  is so much fun!!

And who wouldn't want to sit by this pool!!!!!

                                                           Colors on the beach

What is left of an old pier

                                                                Kayaks anyone??

A few colorful houses............

Brian, Kenzie and Bryce

The love these 2 children feel for their dad is so apparent.

Kenzie had so much fun climbing the bent tree limbs while Bryce was not feeling the love for the camera today he was a trooper!!

 Bryce giving Dad some love!!

Families are like branches on a tree.  We grow in different directions yet our roots remain the same.

Kenzie wanted to race her brother and Dad to the bent tree~ guess who won!!!
