Family Day at the Pumpkin Patch

This Baby was having so much fun picking out a pumpkin.  She was most happy to be out of her tutu and to be able to get out of the stroller and move around. I personally love Halloween time!!!

365 Challenge

Although I have not posted the pictures that I have been taking everyday, I am sticking to it and taking a picture every day.  I pretty much do take a photo everyday anyway, but love the ideas themes. I get my theme ideas from Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Assignment365
There are many other ways to get ideas, just Google photo challenges and you will get a variety of these.  I find that doing it this way I am more accountable to it.  It also challenges me to "see" things in a different way.
So since I am sick on the couch today, I figure it is a time to post all the pictures that I have been taking.
Thanks for viewing my blog.

365 Photo Challnge

365 Photo Challenge

A Moment in Time

This year I am challenging my self to complete a 365 Photo challenge for 2014. My biggest challenge will be completing it. I have tried to do this the last couple of years but really want to push myself to stick to a project as well as be more creative in my photography.  I want to "see" things differently.  I will come up with a guide to follow with challenges for myself to improve and push myself forward.

Cutest Pregnant Halloween Shirt

What you can't see well is that the baby has a red bow and Mommy has a red heart.

Up Close

~~Up Close~~

I love Black Eyed Susan.  The way the petals fall under the center, the contrast between the yellow and the brown and the long sturdy stem.  Nature at it's best.

Owls

Lately I have seen so many owls, in trees, in flight and just hearing the soothing sound of them.
Owl totem says that the common meaning for the owl are:
*Intuition, ability to see what others do not see
*The presence of the owl announces change
*Capacity to see beyond deceit and mask
     *Wisdom
*Owl spirit animals are associated with curiostiy for the unknown, life mysteries.
*The traditional meaning of the owl spirit animal is the announcer of death, most likely
symbolic like a life transition, a change.
